Kasaragod (occasionally spelt Kasarkode; Malayalam :കാസര്ഗോഡ് Kannada:ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ) is a city and a municipality in Kasaragod district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is the administrative headquarters of Kasargod district. The city was formerly called as Kangirakuttom.
